Glenn Lee Learning Centre (GLLC) is fully committed to protecting your privacy. 

This privacy policy has been compiled to better serve those who are concerned with how their information is being used online. Please read the following carefully to get a clear understanding of how we collect, use, protect or otherwise handle your information.

If you are under 18, please do not send any personal data about yourself to us.

  1. Collection of Personal Data

                      1.1.         GLLC collects personal information so that we can provide a better and customised experience for you. We may collect and process the following data about you:

    a)    Personal data about your child’s name, contact details, educational information, payment details and transaction history;

    b)    Upon signing up for a class, you consent to receive updates from GLLC about the latest announcements, news, promotions and events.

  2. Purpose of Information Collected

                    2.1.         The purposes for which GLLC collects and uses this information include:

    a)    To provide and operate GLLC products and services in the most effective manner for you;

    b)    To provide product-related services and support, including the provision of newsletter, educational information or any other information that you signed up for;

    a)    To manage GLLC’s relationship with you, which may include providing information on our products and services where you have allocated consent for;

    b)    For promoting and constructing marketing material distributed by GLLC whether online or offline, subject to your exercise of the opt-out right;

    c)     To facilitate product and service refinements via customer feedback in the form of conducting surveys/questionnaires;

    d)    complying with laws and regulations applicable to us or any of our affiliates in or outside Singapore;

    e)    To comply with any applicable laws and regulations, conducted by any governmental and/or regulatory authority;

    f)      For safety, legal and regulatory compliance; and

    g)    Any other incidental business purpose related to the above.

  3. Disclosure of Information

                    3.1.         GLLC may disclose personal data for any of the Allowed Purposes to:

    a)    agents, advisers, auditors, contractors, financial institutions, and service providers in connection with our operations or services;

    b)    persons under a duty of confidentiality to us;

    c)     Court, regulator, or other authority to whom we are required to make disclosure under applicable laws and regulations in or outside Singapore;

    If GLLC needs to use your personal data for any purpose, we will inform you and obtain your consent beforehand.

     

  4. Security

                    4.1.         Your personal information you provide to us is stored on our secure servers, where it is only accessible by a limited number of people who have special access rights to such systems and are required to keep the information confidential. 

                    4.2.         Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we will do our best to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee the security of your data transmitted to our site. ; any transmission is at your own risk and you agree not to hold us responsible for any breach of security while accessing the internet that is out of our control. We will do our utmost best to abide by strict procedures to try to prevent unauthorized access.

     

  5. Third Party Use of Information

                    5.1.         Our website may contain links to other sites. These are the third parties that provide services through us. They will only be allowed to use and disclose your information to the extent necessary for them to provide the services to us. We are not responsible for the privacy policies or practices of such other Linked Sites.

     

    You may be redirected away from our site when you click on links in our website. These third-party sites may have different privacy practices and we are not responsible for their practices. We encourage our users to be aware when leaving our website to read their respective privacy policies​.

  6. Your Consent and Rights

                    6.1.         By using our service, making an application or visiting our website, you shall be deemed to have agreed to each and all the terms and conditions as outlined in this policy.

                    6.2.         Under the Personal Data Protection Act, individuals have the right to:

    a)    Check whether we hold personal data about you and to access such data;

    b)    Request us to correct as soon as reasonably practicable any data relating to you that is inaccurate;

    c)     Verify our policies and practices in relation to personal data and the kind of personal data held by us;

    d)    Object to the use of your personal data for marketing purposes and we shall not use your personal data for marketing purposes upon communication of your objection to us.

                    6.3.         You may exercise your opt-out right by notifying us if you wish to object to the use of your personal data for direct marketing purposes. Please send requests for such objections. Do note, in many circumstances, we need to use your personal data in order for us to provide you with the service you have requested. If you do not provide us with the required personal data, it may not be possible for us to continue to provide you with the products and services that you require or have requested.

                    6.4.         In accordance with the terms of the PDPA, we have the right to and may charge a minimum fee for processing any data access request.

                    7.1.         In the event that any changes that are made to our Privacy Policy, they will be posted on this page.

  8. Governing law and Jurisdiction

                    8.1.         This Privacy Policy shall be governed by the laws of Singapore. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore courts.
